Valentine’s Day is a funny holiday. Not everyone may share the same feelings about it, but I believe in essence it’s a holiday about love––sharing love, feeling love, receiving love––and nothing is more important than love. Valentine’s Day also gives us a reason to exchange presents and celebrate, and trust me when I say I will take any excuse to give a gift or celebrate anything, any day! So this February 14th, tell everyone you love that you love them, and it never hurts to treat them (or yourself...wink wink) to a little something-something, too.
Little House Confections ($4.50-$98)
This company started as a charitable campaign during COVID-19 and I cannot get enough of it. Whether it’s the olive oil cake, the OG Bomb Ass Cupcake with chocolate frosting, or the carrot cake; it doesn’t matter––I am hooked. And nothing says “I love you” like a delicious sugary treat in chic packaging. As I sit here eating a bowl of strawberries, my mouth is watering at the thought of their double chocolate angel baby cookie. Need!
Simone and I both wanted these necklaces so badly that we decided––what better way to get them than to gift them to each other? Firstly, we love them as an everyday layering piece or even on their own. Secondly, our bestie, Nicole, designed them and we love everything she wears so very much. It also comes in Ruby and it’s even more beautiful in person. So, just a thought: find a friend and buy each other friendship necklaces, or just send this to someone you love. I haven’t taken mine off and I don’t plan to any time soon. (Plus, I get lots of compliments on my Zooms).
This is what I call a fun Saturday night. You put it on, you look completely crazy, you feel like your face is frozen and coated in papier-mâché, then you take it off and you look absolutely beautiful––like a woman with a temporary facelift (or at least that’s what I tell myself). When you’re home for several months giving yourself DIY facials, you test out a lot of products. This is one that I stand behind and that any recipient would enjoy.
MERIT Beauty Flush Balm ($28)
Anything from this brand is a gift you want to receive. These flush balms give you that no-makeup, just-worked-out, rosy-cheek look. I also use it on my eyelids and lips (not sure if that’s what it’s intended for, but it does the trick). I wear Cheeky and Beverly Hills.
Bearaby Napping Blanket ($149)
This weighted blanket is something I didn’t want to get behind at first and now cannot watch TV without. I didn’t understand the concept until I laid down with it once, and now I am completely hooked. Plus, my son loves it too! It’s made with layers of soft, organic cotton and it feels as if someone is lying on you (in a good way).
I love a nightly routine. I shower, wash my face religiously, make sure I have a big bottle of water next to my bed, and always spray my pillow with vagus nerve pillow mist. It smells good, it’s calming, and it’s part of my routine––I adore it. And if you’re feeling generous, try their Salts of the Earth Body Scrub and their Undaria Algae Body Oil, too.
Oriente Italiano Citrino Dinnerware ($55-$95)
Anyone who knows me knows I love tablescapes. I just started my collection of these plates and I love them so very much. I think giving china or anything for setting the table screams “I love you!”
Kit Undergarments Socks ($22)
One can never ever, ever have enough socks!
The easiest way to say “I love you.”
I will take anything from this site, especially their tablecloths––you can never have enough. This strawberry one is a feel-good, happy print that will work with all different types of tableware. Perfect for any meal (preferably outdoors!).
This has been my go-to bodysuit of late. It’s comfortable, flattering, and it makes you look like you put a lot of effort into getting dressed. I love it because I’m always stressing about the perfect tuck for my cardigan and I don’t need to even think about it with this one.
INBLOOM Beauty Aura ($49)
Because everyone wants to have beautiful, healthy skin and nails.
Cozy, cozy, cozy!
Cute and cozy. I wear my pajama set to bed every single night.
